Rectangular black ash splint basket with curved lid that fits over the handle. Split rim with single lashing. 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" wide uprights; 1/4" wide weavers. Plain weave base. Lid comprised of 2" wide splints in tight, plain weave and closely wound lashing border. 1 1/8" wide overhead handle attaches on long sides.
