Slant-top desk. Desk has 6 1/2" deep ledge, hinged to slanted top. Top has lip at one end. Two cleats under top. Locking mechanism on case front, but removed from top. Desk carcass dovetail jointed. Tapered rectangular legs mortise and tenon jointed to drawer carcass. Drawer dovetail jointed. Brass locking mechanism behind keyhole on drawer. Dark stained turned drawer pull. Exterior stained, natural interior.
