Description

Clock frame. Frame is constructed of wood. Top is butt-jointed and nailed to two uprights. Top extends over uprights on every side and has a slot at front the width of the uprights. Uprights have a lap-jointed crossbar with a brass bell attached. Below crossbar the uprights have a rectangular cut out the rest of the height, where there is another lap-jointed crossbar. Base is half-lap jointed with crossbar and butt-jointed with uprights. Base extends over sides and front of uprights and notched on the sides within which there is a brass wheel for weights. Base washed orange. Uprights washed yellow.
