Shoe last. Solid sycamore block of wood cut in the form of a shoe. Toe is rounded. Convex heel curve, flat top, and 1/4" last hook hole just below the top. Hook last hole is filled with a plaster-like substance on one side. Bottom has nail holes concentrated along the edges, across the toe and joint, and in the middle of the toe and heel.
