Shoe float. Float head is curved and tapered with a horizontally grooved underside and almond-shaped nose. Head tapers to shaft with a square cross-section, which is inserted into a wood handle. This joint is reinforced with a dimpled metal ferrule. Handle is hand-carved with a flat butt.
