Description

A-frame design with two frames (two uprights and two rails in each, through mortised and tenoned), hinged with surface-mounted iron hinges at top and held at working width by means of straps secured with maple (Acer spp.) thumb screws threaded into tapped 3/8" diameter holes in the outside edges of the four uprights. Frames and straps are white pine (Pinus strobus). Heavily varnished, natural color. Very nicely made.
