Brass intermediate wheels with steel pinions. The brass wheel is paired a secondary wheel below it which comprises steel pegs in between two brass disks. (.52-.56) have six spokes which connect the center with the outer ring of the wheel, while (.51) only has four spokes. The teeth of each wheel are straight on the sides which round in at the end to form a point.
