Six-gallon stoneware water cooler, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Six-gallon stoneware water cooler with a salt glaze. The outside of the cooler is a glossy grayish-tan with some green glaze accumulation, and the inside is coated with a dark brown Albany slip. At the base, a bung has been added. The cooler features a cobalt slit-trailed rose spray motif. What appear to be faint throwing lines run up the cover to the motif. Two handles flank a thick lip at the top.
