T-handled Scotch pattern screw auger with screw lead, 1 15/16" diameter of cast steel. Auger has a round shaft with a threaded tang. Tang is inserted through a circular saw kerf cut through the center of the between-centers turned ash handle. This kerf is tightened onto the tang by means of a pair of bolts with wing nuts to either side of the tang.
