T-handled Scotch pattern screw auger with screw lead, 1 7/16" diameter of cast steel. Round shaft transitions to a square tang which is inserted through a between-centers turned hickory handle and clinched. A nut and bolt to either side of the tang hole help to tighten the handle on the tang.
