T-handled Scotch pattern 1" diameter screw auger with screw lead. Auger is cast steel but shank appears to be forged steel. The shank is inserted through the handle and clinched. The handle is of hickory that has been between-centers turned to a cylinder and steam bent to an arcuate shape.
