Oval box lid form. Ellipse of white pine with strongly beveled edge and a pine block nailed to side of one face. Outer edge of block-shaped to match curved edge of ellipse; inner edge of block is notched. Six 1/4" holes drilled through ellipse and another 1/4" hole drilled through juncture of notched block bottom and face of ellipse.
