Description

Foundry pattern for a stove door frame of white pine consisting of a rectangular frame, 3/8" x 12 15/16" x 14 15/16", with half-lapped corners glued and nailed. Trim strips, 3/8" x 2", are glued and nailed to the outside 1/2" of the frame sides. Another trim strip, 3/8" x 1 15/16", is similarly glued and nailed to the frame top. Corners of these strips are mitered and inside edges are rounded-over. Half-round trim, 3/16" x 5/16" is glued and nailed to the outside perimeter of the side and top trim. At the bottom, a 5/16" x 3/8" half-round is glued and nailed from trim to trim. A hinge block and a door catch are glued and nailed to the frame as well. One hinge block has been lost. Painted black.
