Box and bottom of basswood and hanger is cherry. Hole in hanger is 3/16" diameter. Box ends are butted to front and back and nailed with wire finish nails. Bottom is nailed to underside of box with same nails. Hanger set into back halfway and secured with glue and round head copper tacks. Stained brown and clear coated.
