Description
A brass wick holder. The wick holder is circular with a cove-ogee edge and a domed lid, which is hinged. At the top center of the dome is a slit 5/16" w. Underneath the dome is a flat perforated disk with an oval protrusion. This protrusion continues to the holder's base, which is attached to curved arms, with decorative cut-outs. Through the holder is a small brass rod with a circular disk for progressing the wick which catches on the three gear-like spokes on the opposite end.
