Description

Mortising machine, made at Canterbury, NH and said to be used in making windows. Blade raised (or lowered) by hand lever. Spring mechanism at top of the post to return blade is now missing. 43 3/8" wide horizontal bed and post mortised into table. Mortise holes in other end of table indicated another machine (perhaps drill press) was attached there.
