Iron shovel consisting of a hammer-formed shovel (iron hammered to shape over a form) with a wrought handle. Handle has a bean-shaped pad at shovel end that is riveted to back of shovel blade and a cylindrical rod terminating with a ball finial. Handle and finial filed to smooth shape.
