Description

Sheet metal oil can (a) with screw cap (b) and spout. Joints crimped and soldered. Can has wire bail with wood handle, bail "ears" riveted and soldered to sides of can. A curved spout and reinforcing strap are soldered to conical top while a strap handle is soldered to back near bottom for tipping. BOttom heavily coated with a brick red paint which has slopped over joint holding bottom to can and a sag extends upward to rim joining can to conical top.
