Turned, paddle-spinning wheel shaped head with tapered shaft at bottom. A hole has been drilled through either side of the head, one of which contains a fragment of the twisted and braided fiber cord that originally held the spindle and pulley which are missing. There is a carved recess in center for the pulley.
