Description

Specialty clamp consisting of two screws of birch with octagonal handles, leather washers around shafts under handles, and a 1" diameter threaded section of shaft. Tapped beech nuts approximately 2 1/4" square x 1 3/8" thick screw onto the screw shafts. A 13/16" x 3 13/16" x 31" piece of chestnut slides on screw shafts above nuts. Below the screw handles, a 1 3/4" x 2 9/16" x 31 1/2" bar of beech with a 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 25 1/8" pine pad screwed to it with steel wood screws slides along the screw shafts.
