Iron pan on angled rod and long handle, Mount Lebanon, NY
Description
Iron pan (4 1/2" diameter x 1/8" deep), forged with a 1/4" diameter rod extending approximately 5" out from pan where the rod is bent 90 degrees. 3 1/2" from bend is another 90 degree bend. This section of rod is threaded into an iron collar, also forged. The rod end extends through tapped hole in collar and is embedded in a between-centers turned 15/16" diameter ash dowel, apparently a handle.
