Two 3/4" x 3/4" x 82 1/4" pieces of softwood with one end beveled to a point hold together by a 1" x 2" x 3 9/16" block of ash with center cut out for sticks. An iron machine bolt is threaded into the top of this block which turns into a small lead plate which in turn presses into a galvanized sheet metal channel which applies pressure to the two sticks.
