Description

Commercially manufactured square of maple with one long curved leg and one shorter straight one. The curved leg is scribed at 1/8" intervals with 18" scaled. The 1" marks are identified by number stamps. The straight leg is similarly scribed to 10". The two legs are joined and brass plates are set into either side flush with the wood surfaces and are secured by at least four brass rivets. An iron wire rectangular loop is secured to the outside of the straight leg with one end inserted at the 0" scribe; the other at 4" scribe. A 1/2" diameter wire circle is looped over the wire rectangle.
