Headboard consisting of a 1/2" x 10 3/4" x 32 9/16" painted board (wood can't be identified). Two ash (Fraxinus americana) cleats are screwed to the back, the bottoms of which are carved to 9/16" dia. x 1 9/16" round tenons. The top edge of the headboard is rounded. The paint has aged to a rather strange shade of dark gray.
