Description
Rope bed with heavy maple frame with head and foot rails secured to side rails by through mortise and tenons. Four turned maple legs support the frame and are secured with 1 3/16" diameter tenons through mortised in the frame. Cast iron fittings secured to the leg bottoms holed turned maple wheels with steel axles. A pine headboard with ash cleats that are cut down at the bottoms into tenons allow the headboard to be attached to the frame. The bed is painted green. No rope.
