Description
Black walnut chest of drawers. The top of the chest is a piece of darkly washed wood, which hangs over the front and sides of the chest. Beneath the top along the chest is crown molding. Along the crown molding are nails which have been filed down. The chest has two columns of six drawers each. Each drawer has a turned wooden knob, 1 3/4" in diameter, at the center of its face. The drawers sit flush with the case. The drawer fronts are dovetail jointed to the rest of the drawer. The case sits atop a slightly larger base with bracketed feet and a scalloped skirt.
