Description

Chest of drawers with eight drawers. The top of the chest is a single board which hangs over the front and sides of the chest. Below the top along the sides is a small strip of molding. The drawers are in two columns of four set 2 15/16" apart. The drawers measure 7 7/8" x 7 1/2". The drawer fronts are dovetail jointed (except for the third drawer in the right column) and stained darker than the rest of the chest, which has been varnished. Each drawer has a turned-wood knob in the center. The base is as wide as the top of the chest with beveled edges.
