Chest of Drawers

Description

Pine chest of drawers. The chest has two columns of eight drawers side-by-side. The drawers are 5 3/8" h x 16 3/4" w with a turned-wood knob of fruitwood at the center of each drawer face. Twelve of the drawers are divided in half by a half-lap jointed divider. The other four drawers have a single compartment. Each drawers is nailed together with three nails at each joint. The front of the chest is clear-coated. The back of the chest is open so the drawer backs are visible.
