Description

Small rectangular wooden cupboard. The cupboard has a single door with two metal hinges, one at the top and bottom of the door's right side. In the middle of the left side is a turned wooden knob about an inch in from the edge. Below the knob is a keyhole. The door to the left of the knob has been fit with another piece of board held in place by the rectangular metal plate on the reverse which blocks the keyhole. Two dado joints are visible when the door is closed. Inside the cupboard is a single shelf. Below the shelf on the left is a cut-out for the old locking mechanism. Everything, excluding the back, are made of the same quality wood with a similar finish. The back comprises four wooden boards nailed horizontally onto the sides of the cupboard.
