Measure with steam-bent maple band having feathered, overlapped end to form section of cylinder, the overlap secured with copper tack/ Seven tacks in vertical row at outside end, six tacks inside - three vertically at inner end, two along bottom and one near top. White pine bottom held with copper shoe pegs. No discernible finish.
