Description

Firkin (a) coopered pine staves, top and bottom. Two hoops on bucket, one beech, one birch. One hoop on lid (b) secured with copper shoe pegs. Wire bail with turned birch handle. Interior heavily waxed. Hoops fastened together with copper tacks.
