Description

Wooden trunk with domed lid. Front, ends, back, and top covered with hair-on leather. Reinforced with black sheet metal brackets and trimmed with scalloped leather strips secured with round-head upholsterer's tacks which are also used to form "S C" on lid. Trunk has iron handles on bean-shaped plates on ends and an iron lock in front. Lid hinged with leather. Interior is lined with green paper.

The donor stated that the trunk was given to him by Eldress Sarah Collins, to whom it had belonged.
