Description

Woven rag rug. Two colored strips of cotton and wool strips plied in a "Z" twist and woven in a repeating pattern. Bound on both warp ends. Cotton rug warp sett at 8 e.p.i. Warp ends bound by cotton tape. Rug starts and ends with a wider stripe of black and white plied rags. The pattern consists of: 4 shots gray and blue ply, two shots of red and gray, four shots of gray and blue, four shots of gray and black, two shots of red and blue, and four shots of gray and black.
