Turned walnut handle with steel hook with flattened tip and blunt prong extending at right angle from base of hook. Hook and pront has some sort of tang or tenon inserted into end of handle which is secured with a pin or rivet peened into an inset brass diamond-shaped plate. Tip also has brass ferrule.
