A 30 1/4" steel shaft with 1 1/4" diameter ends and up to 1 7/8" diameter in center holds an 18" diameter cast iron pulley with five curved spokes and a flat face 4" wide near its center. To one side is a conical casting of unknown purpose and to the other, a 5 1/2" diameter wooden pulley faced with canvas belting 4 1/8" wide is mounted.
