Description

Broad stripes of warp colors in a repeating pattern 7 1/2" blue stripe / 3 1/2" green stripe / 6" red stripe / 3 1/2" green stripe. The pattern repeats twice and ends with a blue stripe. Warp is closely sett at 18 epi. Weft is made from an open weave almost gauze-like type fabric sett at approximately 8 ppi. The weft likely had colors similar to the warp and repeated across the rug creating a checked design but now only flecks of color remain. Majority of weft has faded to off-white. Warp ends have a rolled 1/2" hem.
