Flatiron

Description

Flat iron of cast iron. The iron has a rounded triangular form with a flat back side. The top edge of the iron has an ogee-waterfall edge. There are two raised rectangles on the top of the iron at the front and back. At the center of each rectangle an arm of the handle is set. The arms have a music-note shape and the bulb is joined to the raised rectangles on top. The arms are molded and curve so that they are perpendicular to the top of iron. The handle grip is round with a seam down the length of the handle on the underside and top.
