Description

Large tole (painted sheet metal) coffee pot (a) with lid (b). Pot made of two panels and bottom with crimped and soldered joints. Two cast iron bail "ears" riveted to the sides at the top for a wire bail with turned and painted wood handle. A strap handle for pouring soldered near the bottom on the back, and a U-shaped spout with hinged cover is surface soldered to the front. Rim of pot wire rolled. Bottom has five tin button feet soldered on. Lid is a shallow cone with crimped and soldered joint to which a strap handle is soldered to the center. Outside of pot is painted blue with yellow and red decoration.
