Description

Square-shaped woven poplar box with lid. Lid and bottom of box are lined with "skiver" a style of white leather. Top edge of box is lined with cream-colored thread. Outside base of box consists of light blue heavy-weight paper. Five cream-colored decorative ribbon bows are present on the outside of box, with one on the lid. Two cream-colored bows acts as hinges for the box. Interior is lined in powder blue cotton sateen. Four items are affixed to the box: one, powder blue sateen "tomato" pincushion; the second is a 1" cylinder of wax; the third 2 1/5" woven poplar needle case with three pieces of cream-colored material for needle storage and, the fourth is a blue sateen "strawberry" emery with blue felt top.
