Hat block of pine, top flat, bottom coved to fit shape of crown on hat brim mold 1950.4038.1. A square mortise is chiseled through the center which fits over the tapered square tenon of the brim mold. On either side, inclined 7/8" diameter holes have been drilled through. Blue paper glued around outside of block.
