Description

Cast iron wood burning stove. Consists of a base plate with integral circular hearth (a), supported by four forged square cross-section tapered legs terminating in flat pad feet. Legs are riveted to base plate and rear legs have been reinforced by the addition of a piece of angle iron riveted to the legs. A fire box (b) sits on top of the base. The front of the fire box is open and has a latch bolted to one side and two pintles bolted to the other side for the fire box door (c). There is a round flue at the top rear of the fire box and another round hole centered in the fire box top into which a round lid (d) fits. Handle on door latch appears to be spun copper.
