Description

Oval-shaped carrier made of light-colored wood with swing handle. Box has four "fingers" and is lined in green silk. It has four green silk bows tied to the outside of the box, that originate from the interior of the box. Affixed to the interior by each bow is an object; the first, a green silk strawberry-shaped emery with dark green felt; the second, a green silk eight-segmented pincushions created with dark green thread; the third, a 1" long cylinder of white-colored wax, and the fourth, a cream-colored felt needle case about 2 1/2" long with small pieces of felt inside.

Notes

The box was made by Brother Delmer, and it was lined and outfitted with notions by the sisters.
