Description

Oval wood (walnut) carrier with bent cherry wood handle. Lined in blue satin. Four blue bows on outside attached to inside well. One white felt needle holder, one blue satin "strawberry", one blue satin pincushion, one piece of wax wrapped in white tissue paper, handle attached with copper rivets and washers. Swallow tails secured by copper rivets, birch bottom held in place with wire brads.

Notes

Brother Delmer Wilson made the carrier; the sisters lined and outfitted it with notions.
