Pine dovetailed box with dovetailed lid. Brass butt hinges, bail handle on lid and hasp and lock ring on front. Pine top and bottom nailed onto box. Exterior surfaces, except bottom, stained a reddish brown. Four-sides of box constructed as a unit and the lid sawn free after assembly.
