Porcelain salad plate with blue transfer printed floral design, Hancock, MA

Description
Porcelain salad plate with cobalt transfer-printed designs. The design comprises a patterned border along the outside edge, alternating hanging baskets with floral sprays and small bouquets tied with a bow, and at the center the same border encircling an outdoor floral scene. The underside of the plate has no decoration. The plate has an angled lip of 1 1/16" before the plate slopes to form the well. The underside is angled straight toward the base and shows no signs of the reverse side's slope into the well.
