Description

Ironstone plate with 12 sides. At the corner of the sides there is a crease that runs across the lip to the well. The lip is decorated in cobalt transfer-printed designs of stylized flowers, s- and c- curves, and a patterned border. On the well wall there is a patterned band. The well has a chinoiserie scene. The underside of the dish has the same floral arrangement placed equidistant apart. On the base of the plate there is a printed manufacturer's mark.
