Solid wood instep wedge of a scoop block last. The front face of the last has a metal pin protruding to secure it to the main part of the last. The wedge slopes upward from there, rounds off at top, and is then cut in a concave curve. At the edge of the curve there is a nail hole. The bottom of the wedge is a concave curve.
