Wood block cut in the form of a shoe. The last has an almond-shaped toe, from which the instep slopes upward and then plateaus at the top. The last has no through-hole. From the top the heel curve extends to the seat. The seat sides are straight until the waist and then grows to the widest point at the last joints then tapering to form the toe. The seat has numerous nail holes along the edge of the toe and between the waist and the joint.
