Description

A pair of cream-colored finger-less silk mitts. There is one large opening for all four fingers and one opening for a thumb. The finger opening is finished with a fancy-stitched basket pattern four blocks tall and is repeated around the wrist with a closed feather-stitched border on either side. The thumb hole has the same basket pattern but only two blocks tall. Between the wrist and finger borders are eight diamond fancy-stitched lines. The interior palm's face is bare of any decorative stitching, except the wrist. The bottom opening is simply hemmed.
