Wood block cut to form the wedge of a scoop block last. The base of the wedge is slightly curved and comes to a right angle where there is a half-circle face. At the center of the face there is a rectangular metal pin protruding, which secures the wedge to the last. The top of the wedge is convex and tapers toward the opposite end. The top is cut flat, at an angle, and meets the base creating a thin edge. Near the edge there is a nail hole. Below the top there is a through-hole 9/32" in diameter.
